The Club saw the first of its new Committee presentation evenings at the Knox Club. 13 new members joined with 3 members, Scott Koffyberg, Steve Hastings and Gary Harman playing all games in 1998, but sill not enough to beat the Club champion, Doug "the toe cutter" Griffiths from winning just about every trophy. Most notable report was that the winner a Healesville , Scott K rang his wife to tell her he was winning - not sure if it was love or Ego! The club had an aveage 32.38 players per game, distributed 324 balls or 24.92 per game, but with 2 members, Alan Swanson & Campbell Morcom not winning any balls.
