The year of the big hand over as Jay & Brad take the reins in 2014 from Ray & Rex who have been in control for a few years. 30th year for the club and some celebrations, notably the trip to Rich River in Oct where the Sat winner was Brad Farrell, and Sunday team game won by Adrian Bond, Greg Shand, Tony Houston & Peter Vincent.  Presentation day was at The Precint Hotel in Richmond, where Ray Robertson won his 3rd Championship Honour - not so honourable was the 3 Naga's collected by Ron Davies during the yr - another LGC First. great day as usual with the racing comp a huge success each year , superbly ran by Paul & Sally, certainly get the punters in. New member Geoff Dyker’s wife Debbie cleaned us up to take home the major pool prize not to mention Geoff winning a few raffle prizes also. True to form one Gary Harman once again couldn’t take out the major prize and had to settle for second place. We auctioned off a Collector’s item - Vintage 1994 Lilydale Golf Club Chardonnay in mint condition. Successful bidder was Vin Thornton.This will go into Vinnie’s cellar under the section – Not to Be Drunk!!!! Thanks once more to the donors of the raffle prizes, they were a hit – especially the electric drill caused few laughs trying to find a home!
